课程简介
《英语议论文写作》是卓越学院一年级学生第二学期的写作课程。这个课程将会上18周。课程主要有2个目标：提升学生的写作水平和辨证思考能力。在写作水平方面，学生在这门课程中将会通过写小作文和写作作业继续学习正确地掌握语法（时态、连接词、介词等）。在辨证思考方面，学生将会接触各类社会议题，学习在写作中精确地总结社会现象。学生还将训练使用论据来描述社会现象的影响和佐证他们的观点。
Argumentation Writing H
CouresIntroduction
Argumentation is a 2nd semester writing course for Freshmen in Honor College. This course will run for 18 weeks.This course has two main goals: further development of writing competencies and critical thinking. Students in this course, in regards to writing competencies, will continue to master the use of good grammar (e.g. using tenses, conjunctions, and prepositions). This will be done in the development of small essays and larger writing assignments.In regards to critical thinking, students will explore various social topics and themes which are a part of the human experience. Students will learn how to accurately summarize social phenomenon in writing. Learners will also be trained to assess the impact of social phenomenon and back up their assertions with documentation or available data.
