·Dr. Indira PriyadarshiniRavindran is a SIRPA faculty member since the opening of the new school in September 2014. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in:International Relations (IR) theory and practise;International Political Economy (IPE); and inChina-India Politics & Diplomacy.Current collaborative research projects include BRICS/ G20 studies (SIRPA G20 Centre), as well as a media monitoring project on China-India relations (with School of Journalism and Communication, SISU).
·Dr. Ravindran has lived in Shanghai since 2007, and has previously taught at East China Normal University, and Tongji University. Dr. Ravindran lived in the United States prior to moving to China with her family. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA, in 2008 with a Ph.D. in Political Science, and a specialization in International Relations. Her doctoral dissertation is a historical study of International Refugee Law (IRL).
·Dr. Ravindran‘sacademic interests include the history of international relations; refugee studies; American foreign policy; and India-China relations.
